The resort’s layout carefully follows the natural topography, allowing the built environment to integrate seamlessly with the landscape. Water features prominently in the design, inspired by the idea of extending Cennet (Paradise) Bay into the resort's social areas and accommodations. Water flows through the property, following the slope of the land and reaching the verandas of the lagoon rooms, ensuring that each structure maintains a direct connection with nature. This integration of water elements not only enhances the relationship between the buildings and the landscape but also creates a tranquil and immersive experience for guests aswell. The central lagoon area transforms the traditional 'pond' concept into a 'bay,' aligning with sustainable design principles.
The entrance, characterized by its modest canopy design, is simple and transparent, allowing guests to immediately engage with the surrounding views. This understated approach to the entrance sets the tone for the rest of the resort, where structures are carefully positioned to maximize views, natural light, and ventilation. The architecture emphasizes openness and fluidity, ensuring a strong connection between the interiors and the natural environment.
The architectural design avoids large monolithic buildings, opting instead for a fragmented structure that allows the resort to spread organically across the bay. This approach ensures that the resort blends into its surroundings, with various shading structures and textures that cater to different tastes, entertainment options, and activities. The accommodation units, including suites, lagoon rooms, family rooms, and villas, are designed to reflect the living practices unique to the Aegean region. These units are grouped and positioned to open up to the landscape, adhering to the natural topography of the site.
The villas, situated in a quieter and more private area of the resort, offer spacious terraces and private pools, allowing guests to experience open-air living throughout the day. The design of the villas emphasizes privacy and comfort, while still maintaining a strong connection with the surrounding nature.
