Located in Sorgun, Manavgat, on a quiet low-density residential plot adjacent to Sorgun Pine Forests, this single-family villa offers a serene retreat while remaining close to the region’s tourism and leisure facilities. The design embraces the Mediterranean climate and landscape, combining contemporary clarity with a strong relationship to nature.
Location: Manavgat, Antalya, Turkey
Site Area: 613 sqm
Construction area: 318 sqm
Completion Date: June 2025
Program: Residential

The four-bedroom villa is organized over two floors, with a double-height living space forming the heart of the house. This central volume connects all living areas, creating both visual continuity and a generous sense of openness.

Given the hot Mediterranean climate, the exterior is clad in white, reflecting light and heat. The upper-level terrace is equipped with foldable shutters to regulate solar exposure, while a canopy shades the outdoor terrace, ensuring year-round comfort. The surrounding boundary wall, required for security, has been designed with sensitivity: while solid at its base, it transitions into a semi-transparent structure at higher levels, maintaining visual connection with the landscape and greenery beyond.

The villa’s architectural expression emerges from the interplay of four volumetric masses stacked upon each other, generating a dynamic composition. A distinct vertical circulation core, designed as a transparent glass box, links these volumes while introducing natural light deep into the plan.

The garden design follows a minimal, almost zen-like approach, punctuated with a small vegetable patch that reinforces the house’s connection to simple, grounded living. The overall atmosphere emphasizes Mediterranean architecture’s essence of lightness and clarity, complemented by sustainable technologies that support long-term efficiency and comfort.
